HAMILTON, OH (FOX19)- Crews were called to a two-alarm house fire Monday afternoon in Hamilton.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Greenwood Avenue.
Upon arrival, fire crews found a vacant, one-story home with fire and heavy smoke in the rear of the structure. Every fire unit in Hamilton reported to the scene, remaining there for two hours.
One firefighter was treated at the scene after being overcome by heat.
Damages are estimated at $40,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
