Hamilton fire crews battled a fire at a vacant home Tuesday morning.
It happened at about 1:30 a.m. at a home on North B Street.
Units arriving at the scene found a one story vacant structure with fire coming out of the front window. Because it
was a vacant, boarded up structure, the plywood had to be removed from the
windows before interior operations began.
Every fire unit in the city was at the scene. No firefighters were injured.
Damages are
estimated to be $50,000. A cause has not been released.
