MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19)- A man was arrested Tuesday after running from officers and forcing his way into a Middletown home to hide.
Middletown Police received to a complaint around 3 p.m. regarding drug use by a white female and black male near a shed in the 3100 block of Plymouth Avenue.
When officers arrived, the female had left the area but say they were able to locate the male, Dionte Russell, 27, of Camden, in the shed.
Police say while taking him into custody, Russell started running from officers toward Winton Street. He then reportedly forced his way into a nearby home by pushing through the back door while the resident was trying to close the door.
Officers say they found Russell on the steps to the basement and was taken into custody.
