HAMILTON, OH (FOX19)- Emergency crews were called to a duplex fire on Friday.
It happened in the 200 block of Warwick Avenue. Upon arrival, firefighters found a two story duplex with fire blowing from a fire floor window.
Authorities say a mother and 2-year-old son were home on the first
floor at the time of blaze. They were awakened by a smoke detector and
got out safely. A family on the
second floor also got out of the house safely.
Fire crews were on the scene for approximately two hours.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damages are estimated at $35,000.
